Hello, I'm Anielkha Jimenez, LCSW 96417. My mission is to reduce suffering in the world, one person at a time. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from California State University, Northridge. My approach is eclectic to fit all types of needs, designed to meet you where you are, focusing on your strengths and nurturing those areas that need tender love and care to help you feel whole once again. My approach begins with understanding who you are and what your life looks like. Together, we identify the goal you want to accomplish during our time. I use person-centered, CBT, DBT, ACT, Solution-focused, 12-step, narrative therapy, and more to help you achieve your desired outcome. It has been an honor working with kind people who have struggled with depression, anxiety, and ADHD, as well as individuals who are sober and attending 12-step meetings seeking additional support to maintain their sobriety. If you want to get to the root cause of the wounds causing behavioral and emotional challenges in your life, I am the behavioral health specialist for you. My intention is to provide a safe, peaceful, and at times fun environment where you can explore your inner world with radical acceptance and unconditional love. My journey to therapy began when I was 11 and met a therapist. The more I learned about mental health, the more fascinated I became with understanding how the mind works. By age 13, I knew I wanted to be a mental health provider, and it has been my passion ever since. As a wounded healer, I sought to understand what I was feeling, what had happened to me, how those experiences affected me, and why people behave in hurtful ways. The more I healed, the better I became at sharing the healing tools that taught me how to live life fully. After getting a sense of who you are and what your life is like, I will ask what goal you want to accomplish throughout the course of our work together.
