I typically serve individuals and communities more impacted by social oppression and exclusion, which limits their access to effective mental health care. This includes, but is not limited to, preteens and adolescents, emerging adults, elderly adults, Black and Brown/BIPOC individuals, immigrants, Caribbean and Latinx communities, LGBTQAI2S+ individuals, and people who are neurodiverse or atypical (ADHD, gifted, autism). I often use creative interventions in my sessions to encourage emotional processing and focus on developing skills to restore and maintain mental wellness. My approach is eclectic and tailored to each client's unique needs. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Florida International University and a Bachelor's degree from Florida State University.
