Getting to know Anique Roberts

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is new to private practive but with 5 years of experience in social work in various helping and counseling roles. I earned a Master of Social Work from the University of Georgia. I am also certified in Advanced grief counseling. I provide a safe therapeutic space to discuss any difficulties you face in life. So far, I have had the opportunity to work with people of various ages and backgrounds, from four years old to over one hundred years old. have the most expertise working with teens and young adults dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, women's issues, self-esteem, and relational issues than other people and issues. I also have experience with various age groups dealing with grief and loss. I aim to assist individuals seeking to enhance their mental well-being and take proactive steps to improve their overall life experience.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My goal is to meet people where they are in their journey toward improvement and assist them in working through the barriers that come up in life so they feel more confident working through them more successfully and independently outside of therapy. I have an eclectic approach, so I will adjust strategies from issue to issue.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I want to talk more about who you are, a bit about your background, and what brought you into therapy. I want to learn more about what you hope to improve in our sessions together. I want to learn more about the main barriers preventing progress. Overall, I hope to start getting an understanding of what you hope can change and improve with therapy and help you along your journey.
