Oftentimes children’s mental health is written off as behavioral challenges, “bad” parenting, or simply treated as if it’s not real. Children’s functioning is usually influenced by a variety of factors ranging from family dynamics, school & community environment, and a host of challenges unique to their lived experiences. I am a systems-level processor and I use a family systems perspective in my therapeutic process (family can look a plethora of ways- all are welcome). I center the individual while making room for a person’s role within specific systems, including their own nervous system! I utilize a trauma-informed, strengths-based, creative, and solution-focused approach to the therapeutic process to address emotional, behavioral, and family-related challenges. This is your life and your therapy! I am here to support you as you take the lead in your respective healing journey-whatever that may look like for your short and long term therapeutic goals. I obtained a Master’s in Social Services and Bachelors in Sociology with a minor in Child and Family studies at Bryn Mawr College/Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research. I have experience providing trauma-informed counseling, psychosocial support, and care coordination for children, adolescents, and families. I am experienced in collaborating with caregivers, schools, and interdisciplinary teams to promote resilience, emotional wellness, and positive long-term outcomes for individuals of all ages! "I love puzzles and messy art! Broken glass is simply a mosaic in the making in my eyes!"
