It takes a lot of courage to reach out for help when you’re feeling overwhelmed and stuck due to mental health and substance use issues. You don’t have to fight these challenges on your own. I specialize in helping adults of any age with anxiety, depression, trauma, and alcohol or drug use, including when mental health and substance use issues occur simultaneously. I understand there are many different paths to overcoming and managing struggles with mental health and substance use. My therapeutic approach helps each client find their best path by providing sessions that are client-centered, strengths-based, non-judgmental, empathetic, and accepting of everyone. Together, we’ll generate healthy and empowering ways to problem-solve, improve communication, manage strong emotions, build or repair relationships and other support systems, and find ways to maintain recovery. I also have 10 years of experience working with clients who are justice-involved through court, parole, and probation systems. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from San Diego State University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support my clients effectively on their journey to wellness.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
