She is proficient in Cantonese and Mandarin, and understands Chinese culture. She is trained and experienced in crisis debriefing, and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI). Anita is passionate about seeing families thrive by helping kids and parents through play therapy, seeing couples grow in their relationships with one another, and helping people going through significant life transitions. ? When she isn’t counseling, Anita enjoys propagating and collecting plants, being at the beach, traveling and trying new foods, bargain hunting, decorating, and spending time with friends and family.
