Getting to know Anjana Rajan

Hi there, I'm Anjana! My name is Anjana Rajan, and I am currently an LCSW. I earned my Master's in Social Work from George Fox University. I believe each person deserves dignity, respect, and empathy no matter where they are in life. As your clinician, I will walk alongside you on your journey and provide a safe space for you to heal. My approach We can work on specific issues or explore your life's deeper meaning-especially during loss or significant life changes. Using your natural skills and abilities, you will learn effective ways to achieve both your therapeutic and life goals. I am trained in modalities including CBT, DBT, ACT, and motivational interviewing. My focus I work primarily with adults aged 18-65. I focus on issues including anxiety, depression, relationship problems, and communication. Those who suffer from trauma often struggle to control emotions, lack self-regulation, and face difficulties in relationships with communication and boundary setting. My communication style I believe each of us has our own innate wisdom. My role is to build a safe and trustworthy therapeutic relationship, support you in reconnecting with your own strength, assist you in building skills and supports, and encourage you to make meaning of your journey so you can live the most vibrant life for you. My journey to mental healthcare Helping and supporting people through difficulties adds meaning and value to my life. I believe it is an honor to learn from and support people as they navigate their journeys. My goals for you Therapy is a collaborative process, and my goal is to work with you from day one and help bring clarity to your issues. My first session with you I understand it can be intimidating to open up to a stranger about deep and personal things. I respect that every client is different, so I prefer to take sessions at your comfort and pace.
