Psychotherapist
100 Lexington Dr, #150, Buffalo Grove, IL
My approach to therapy is cognitive-behavioral based, and I aim to guide you in recognizing how your thoughts, feelings, and actions are interconnected. I focus on identifying thought distortions and behaviors that act as barriers to a healthy life. I strive to build an authentic, non-judgmental therapeutic relationship rooted in empathy, hope, and support, honoring who you are as an individual. I have worked with adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. I am also a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. My training includes a Master's in Counseling Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, which has equipped me to assist clients in developing more effective coping skills for addictions, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and borderline personality disorder through Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. In sessions, I focus on providing tools that clients can use to reduce their symptoms and manage stress.
