As a Licensed Professional Counselor with over forty years’ experience in mental health services, I use cognitive-behavioral and other therapy techniques to help clients increase insight, develop problem-solving skills, and move toward personal growth and improved mental health. With psychotherapeutic intervention, many also experience enhancement of relationships and greater enjoyment of life.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Compassionate, constructive sessions are provided to individuals, couples, and families. My practice motto, “Helping You to Help Yourself!” summarizes my commitment to guiding clients from crises, behavior health issues, and/or life’s other challenges toward personal growth and enhanced mental health.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During the first session we will work together to create a plan for treatment which includes an interview, assessment, and discussion of your desired accomplishments during therapy. Subsequent sessions will address your identified needs with cognitive behavioral and other psychotherapeutic techniques.
