I have a 30 years of experience working with a wide range of people going through hard things--anxiety, depression, infertility, divorce, grief, trying to figure out jobs or dating, becoming a parent for the first time, or recovering after a breakup. Some of my best training has also come from being married for 28 years and raising kids into adulthood. Therapy works.......I've seen it change lives, including my own. What should a new client know about working with you?

If you're looking for something to change in your life, therapy can provide a supportive place to begin. Clients often come feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or discouraged and leave with greater clarity, confidence, and hope. I offer a warm, collaborative approach that values genuine connection and a good therapeutic fit. Together, we'll explore what's holding you back, and help you build the skills and insight needed to move forward.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My approach is to start by understanding you and what you are seeking help for. I describe myself as client-led, relationship-based, and grounded in a psychodynamic approach. Together you and I will try to understand the deeper patterns and experiences that shape how you think, feel, and relate to others. I believe that lasting growth happens when a person feels seen, understood, and supported in a safe therapeutic relationship. Over the years, I have received specialized training in the Gottman Method, Imago Relationship Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I draw from these methodologies according to what is the best fit for my clients.
