What should a new client know about working with you?

When we work together, I want to understand the whole person in front of me. I’m curious about who you are at your core—what makes you tick, the experiences that have shaped you, and the patterns that show up in your life. I believe real change comes from not only addressing what’s happening right now, but also exploring the deeper “why” behind it. My style is both compassionate and practical. I’m solution-oriented and will help you find strategies you can start using right away, but I’m also intentional about slowing down when it’s needed. Sometimes the most meaningful work happens when we pause, reflect, and connect the dots between past and present. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood and supported, while also helping you move toward growth, healing, and lasting change.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first sessions, I spend time getting to know you—your story, your goals, and the challenges you’re facing. I want to understand both what’s happening in your day-to-day life and the deeper patterns that might be influencing it. As we continue, sessions usually include a balance of open conversation and practical strategies. Sometimes we’ll slow down to explore the “why” behind your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors; other times, we’ll focus on tools you can use right away to bring relief or create change. I view therapy as a collaborative process, so I’ll often check in with you about what feels helpful and where you’d like to focus. My goal is for you to leave sessions with both insight and concrete steps you can take between meetings.
