Anna's educational and certification background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s in School Counseling. She is a North Carolina Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor specializing in depression, anxiety, trauma, career counseling, and school issues. She is also a certified Grief Educator and Life Coach. Anna uses an eclectic approach to counseling, tailoring sessions to what works best for clients wherever they are in their journey. She offers suggested practices outside of counseling designed to reinforce what was talked about to help clients reach therapy goals and apply them to real-life settings. In her spare time, Anna enjoys reading, writing, hiking, and painting. She especially enjoys playing with her two dogs, Kami and Koda.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

After you request your appointment, you will be sent an invite link for Brightside Health. You will need to enter your insurance and payment information to confirm your appointment.During your initial consultation we will craft a treatment plan personalized to your needs, and schedule follow-up appointments as needed. You will also be able message me directly at anytime via the messaging section of your Brightside Health portal - a tool where will also track your progress, access resources, and see your treatment plan details.
