What should a new client know about working with you?

I focus on creating a safe and nonjudgmental space to build trust and help you realize your strengths, develop effective coping skills, and achieve your goals. I am trained in EMDR, DBT, and CBT and have worked with a wide age range of clients. Moving forward can be difficult. I am passionate about helping clients better understand themselves and find ways to engage in life in healthier ways. Together, we can work towards a better understanding of our emotions, build a stronger sense of self, and find purpose and joy in life. Let me help you take those first steps.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first session will be an intake focusing on gathering background information, assessing current concerns, and discussing a plan for sessions. After completing an intake, we will work together to create goals that align with what you are wanting to get out of therapy. We will use those goals to guide treatment and I will assess what type of strategies will be most effective. Our time together will be collaborative, supportive, challenging, and focused on you achieving your goals.
