Psychotherapist
CT
I believe that everyone's life experience is different, each with our own unique story. I am a warm individual who will listen to your story and help you formulate the goals you want to achieve as you continue to build your life story. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is the fundamental basis for the work in therapy. For this relationship to develop, respect, empathy, and trust must be the foundations. My goal as a therapist is to support my clients by building a therapeutic alliance and maintaining respect and trust to move toward positive change. My experience includes working with those experiencing depression, anxiety, grief/loss, struggles with self-esteem, relationship issues, spirituality, and women's issues. My role is to help you become the “expert” so you can continue to grow long after our final session together. I earned my Master's in Professional Counseling from Liberty University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to provide compassionate and effective care. The most important thing I need you to know about me and how I work is that I believe counseling to be a calling, and I truly believe in the power of therapy to change lives. I believe that talking about the things that hurt us provides us with the power to overcome them. As a counselor, I hear many sad and difficult situations, and I pray for the wisdom and knowledge to know how to best be of service to my clients.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
