Getting to know Anna Yu

Hi there, I'm Anna! Many people struggle with feelings of anxiety, depression, and relationship concerns (among many other challenges) that affect our well-being and daily life. It can be even more difficult if you are part of the Asian American community or other marginalized groups. When you finally decide to seek help, finding the right person can be hard because certain groups are underrepresented in my field. I can relate-I experienced similar challenges when I was searching for help. I know my experience is not unique because many of my clients have shared similar stories. No matter your concern or reason for seeking support, I believe there is no "one size fits all" approach to therapy, as each individual and what they bring to the table is unique. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Hawaii Pacific University, and some of the treatment modalities I use include Motivational Interviewing, CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness.
