I am an independently licensed clinical social worker in Washington and Oregon. I have four years of experience as a therapist and over a year of experience in independent clinical practice. Coming to this career later in life, I bring valuable life experience, perspective, and a commitment to lifelong learning to my work. I am passionate about social justice, respecting individual differences, and recognizing the unique strengths each person brings. My previous experience as a teacher and a social worker has given me the opportunity to work with people from many backgrounds. It is deeply important to me, to honor our differences while recognizing our shared humanity. I am passionate about helping people heal from trauma, navigate life transitions, develop greater self-understanding, and cultivate self-compassion.
