Getting to know Anne Brown

I am passionate about supporting clients towards their full potential to be happy and fulfilled. I believe in a holistic approach that considers the power of the mind, body, and soul. Providing a safe and non-judgmental space for my clients is essential to build a trusting environment that allows growth. I have worked with trauma, mental health, and addictions for the past 10 years and have found my purpose to be meaningful relationships with my clients. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), trained in Solution-Focused CBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, and EMDR. In the past, I have worked in Child Protection, with children and youth, in drug courts, probation, parole, and voluntary clients. My goal remains the same for all of my clients. I want to learn what your goal is and guide you closer to your goal. My approach in therapy is therefore client-centered and inspired by the individual I am working with. I want to understand who you are, what shaped you, and what I can do to empower you to get closer to who you want to be and how you want your life to be. Through my own journey and experiences, I have learned to see the good in people and to never give up. I believe in the power of healing and in the unlimited potential in every person I meet.
