I work together with clients to develop skills and resolve a variety of issues including stress, anxiety, depression addiction, trauma, and grief. I completed a PhD in Counseling at Georgia State University in Atlanta and specialize in helping adults and adolescents lead more fulfilling and productive lives. I believe all individuals are worthy of dignity and respect. I work with all individuals and understand each situation is unique. I employ a variety of therapies to meet an individual's needs. My practice includes a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Mindfulness techniques to direct thoughts, emotions and behaviors in more constructive and helpful directions. I combine engaged and understanding listening along with education and skills development to assist people in taking successful steps toward meeting their goals. People see me when they wish to have a more enjoyable and productive lives. They may want to have improved relationships or understand themselves better, but feel baffled, stuck, be unable to see challenges from a different perspective, or make positive changes. I believe all areas of our lives are connected, and mental health is an area which impacts all aspects of life.
