Getting to know Anne Frauens
I am a licensed clinical social worker and have been a licensed therapist since 2004. I have practiced in medical and mental health settings which enables me to blend my knowledge base to support the whole person. I bring over two decades of experience to you with openness, care and honesty.
I appreciate the structure and effectiveness of CBT and incorporate multiple modalities to an integrative, client-centered approach. My style is down-to-earth, realistic, and deeply respectful. I believe trust is the basis of a good therapeutic relationship and use empathy, humor, and genuine connection to create a solid working relationship.
Having lived in the Far East, Hawaii, the Mid-Atlantic and South, I am fortunate to have experience with multiple cultures and ethnicities. I now enjoy life in Chicagoland. I am a proud mom and grandma who enjoys spending time with my grandsons, who keep me laughing. The best medicine ever!
