Anne-Marie Flathers, LMHCA

Psychotherapist
614 W McGraw St, Seattle, WA
As you seek therapy, you may have been feeling stuck, dissatisfied, and unhappy for quite a while. Sometimes it's hard to put your finger on why. Maybe you're ready to dig a little deeper into the journey that has led you here. I enjoy walking with clients toward greater self-understanding, bringing clarity to experiences and feelings that might have felt overwhelming and confusing, and might have been with you for a very long time. I believe in tending to the underlying wounds that often live at the root of our ongoing fears, sadness, and difficulties. Therapy provides a unique opportunity to listen to your inner world, to give it the space and care it deserves, and respond compassionately to what it has to tell us. This work creates the opportunity for deep shifts and healing, and the writing of new stories. I hold a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School. I offer telehealth and in-person sessions in Queen Anne, Seattle, to adult individuals. Some of the areas I tend to focus on with clients include self-esteem, boundaries, chronic shame, recovering from abuse, navigating relationships, and supporting general anxiety and depression. I work with all kinds of people but specialize in supporting those with ADHD and who identify as highly sensitive.
