By working with tools such as those offered through the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) research and experts such as Kristin Neff, Brené Brown, Tian Dayton, Gabor Maté,, Bruce Perry, and Daniel Siegel, clients are able to embrace a shift towards wholeness, compassionate self-understanding, helpful re-framing of their life choices and experiences, and improved abilities in self-regulation and connection with loved ones. With the belief that it is never too late to repair and restore attachment capabilities, Nicki offers therapeutic care that is based upon the principles of Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), a systemic approach to healing developmental trauma. Focusing upon the concept of Post Traumatic Growth (PTG), it is possible for survivors to reclaim their sense of joy, purpose, resiliency, and ability to move forward in achieving life goals.
