What is your typical process for working with clients?

Annemarie asks new clients to complete a questionnarie that she reviews prior to the first session to familiarize herself with the client's functioning, concerns and goals for treatment. The first session encompasses reviewing the questionnaire and gaining additional clarity from the client so that Annemarie can assess and provide appropriate interventions during the theraupeutic process. With the permission from the client, Annemarie will provide direct and supportive feedback during the session and ask the client to complete a homework assignment for the client to marinate on session discussions. This allows the client to develop insight for meaningful change.
