I earned my Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Plymouth State University in Plymouth, New Hampshire and acquired my Master's degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. For over 12 years, I've been working as a dedicated Social Worker.
At the outset, I focus on fostering trust through meaningful conversations. Collaborating in identifying your strengths, aptitudes, and concerns helps us form operational and realistic strategies. My belief rests in a strength-based approach, paving the way for a client-owned, future-oriented, and sustainable therapy program.
From hospitals and emergency rooms to outpatient therapy centers and domestic violence shelters, my experience spans across multiple treatment settings. Such diversity has further equipped me in helping clients dealing with issues like stress, anxiety, depression, trauma and abuse, grief and loss, disability issues, and more.
My approach to treatment is warm and empathic, interactive, culturally sensitive, and always centered around the client. I pride myself on my listening skills, sense of humor, often pointing it towards myself.
In my leisure, I relish sewing, knitting, traveling, and writing. I also enjoy creating courses for my business. The mountains and ocean energize me, becoming vital components of my self-care regimen.
