Psychotherapist

Hello! I'm Anny, a bilingual and bicultural therapist who is passionate about helping you discover and expand the strengths that already exist within you. I firmly believe that everyone has the capacity to heal and recover from their experiences, especially when they feel supported by someone who truly cares. Together, we can explore old patterns and create new choices for how you want to live your life. I earned my bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Denver and my master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado. With over 8 years of experience providing bilingual therapy services to the Latinx, Hispanic, and immigrant communities, I specialize in a person-focused, strengths-based approach that incorporates CBT, mindfulness, and attachment styles. I also have a deep understanding of grief and bereavement and have worked extensively with children, adolescents, and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, and trauma. In our sessions, you can expect a supportive and non-judgmental space where we can address specific issues or simply have someone to listen to you. My goal is to help you navigate your therapeutic journey, whether you're facing a particular challenge or seeking overall well-being. When I'm not working, I love spending time with my loved ones, hiking, embarking on new adventures, reading, building Legos, enjoying music, and indulging in photography and humor. I have two adorable terrier-mix dogs and 2 kittens. A fun fact about me is that I've gone tandem skydiving three times! I would be honored to be a part of your journey towards healing and growth. Please feel free to reach out, and I look forward to working with you.
