Getting to know Anthony Abruzzo

I’m Anthony, a psychotherapist here in New York. I want to share who I am, how I approach therapy, and most importantly, how we will work together to help you achieve your goals and desires. My approach is both reflective and forward-moving — a space for healing, self-understanding, and meaningful change. Together, we’ll process life’s challenges and traumas, and from this, draw the resilience, strength, and determination that allowed you to overcome them. I bring several years of clinical experience and hold dual master’s degrees. I’ve worked with children, teens, adults, and couples. My therapeutic foundation is rooted in the work of Carl Rogers and Viktor Frankl — emphasizing unconditional positive regard, authenticity, and helping you discover purpose, passion, and meaning. My role isn’t to lecture or to sit across from you offering rehearsed advice. My role is to join you — to process, support, plan, and sometimes challenge you when needed. I meet you where you are, and we move forward together — uncovering your strongest, most genuine self and finding how to use that strength toward a life rich in purpose and meaning. If this approach resonates with you, I’d love to begin working together
