Getting to know Anthony Demieri

I provide compassionate and person-centered mental health care. I have worked as a therapist for seventeen years in a variety of settings. I have worked as a therapist for outpatient mental health clinics in both New York and Connecticut, served as a clinician for a psychiatric rehabilitation center, and a clinician for the NYS court system. I served as a field instructor for Quinnipiac University, and I am passionate about my chosen vocation as a clinical social worker. I am currently a crisis clinician/mental health first responder and serve as a therapist in private practice. My expertise is in the field of CBT. In addition, I am formally trained and hold a degree in Philosophy and Religious Studies, which enables me to provide counseling from a Christian lens. I completed formal basic training in EMDR and have completed clinical consultation hours. Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
