Getting to know Antonina Lunetta

Feeling numb, lost, stuck, or like we have lost control of our thoughts or relationships can be frustrating and aggravating, to say the least. As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a Master's in Counseling Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, I offer a nonjudgmental, welcoming space where I assist my clients in navigating the many challenges we face every day. I specialize in couples work (including LGBTQIA+, Poly, Kink Positive, marital, pre-marital, and divorce counseling), family work (including parenting, parents with young children, teens and pre-teens, and parents with adult children), and individual work (including clients dealing with anxiety, depression, emotional, physical, or sexual trauma, unhealthy communication or relational patterns, and goal coaching). I support and encourage my clients to identify goals and break these goals down into small, daily habits and techniques that help them live their most authentic lives. This approach helps us feel like we are getting the most out of our days and out of life. I also help my clients identify, track, and measure the progress they are making and recognize early signs that focal shifts or changes are needed. I have been working passionately over the last 10 years in Illinois, Michigan, and Spain with individuals, couples, and families. I speak Spanish as a second language and use a combination of neuroscience, the Gottman Method, DBT, CBT, PCIT, holistic health, and psychoanalytical theories to help my clients, couples, and families live up to their full potential.
