“I just had my first session with April. She was easy to talk to and friendly. I have issues leaving the house and cleaning. April was great helping to identify issues. At the end of the session, we had plan. April has inspired me to stretch myself and overcome my irrational fears. April and I are a good match I feel comfortable with her. I feel there is hope. April is great!”

Getting to know April Kitchens

Hi there, I'm April Kitchens, LCSW. I practice as a Licensed Therapist in the states of Texas and Mississippi. I hold a Master's in Clinical Social Work from the University of Mississippi. I am passionate about helping others through struggles in their lives. With over 10 years of experience, I have assisted individuals during some of the most challenging times of their lives. I have an extensive history working with children, adolescents, and young adults. We live in a world where we are constantly in "go mode." Many of us feel as though we can't slow down long enough to process our lives. The constant chaos, along with the trauma many of us carry, can affect how we step forward in life. I'm here to help. I want to see you break through and reclaim your tomorrows.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
