Hello and thank you for reading my bio! I was born and raised in New York and have extensive professional experience across various settings, including schools, non-profits, private practice, addiction and mental health treatment centers. My goal as a therapist is to create a strong therapeutic alliance by building trust and rapport with my client. I believe this is identified as the greatest predictor for change. I obtained my license as a mental health counselor in 2011, and I am a qualified supervisor for interns. I utilize evidence-based techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, trauma-informed care, and family systems. Incorporating an individual's creative outlets into the session can be another way to express feelings in a non-verbal way. I like to think outside the Box!
