My name is April Amos Robertson and thank you for visiting my profile. I have a great variety of career and life experiences that help me to be a trusted professional for many of life's speed bumps. I have worked as a therapist for children, adolescents, individuals, couples, and families at public mental health; in the school system as both a teacher and a school counselor, and I've even worked with the court system and the department of corrections providing counseling services. My main interests are working with clients, couples, and families who want to make positive life changes and are willing to do the work to make that happen. I feel like my role is as a sounding board, cheerleader, voice of reason, and trusted confidante. I have never known a stranger and I feel I am approachable, a good listener, and inciteful regarding the work it takes to be our best selves, and I cannot wait to meet you and get started.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
