I utilize an eclectic approach that incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, reality therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, psychoeducation, and rational emotive behavior therapy. I specialize in treating OCD, anxiety, depression, anger management, relationship problems, and sexuality issues. I believe that a good fit between the client and therapist is essential. I take an honest and authentic approach that adds humor and a bit of fun to the therapeutic process. I have been a licensed mental health counselor for almost ten years, with experience in community mental health, substance abuse treatment, private practice, and court-mandated programs. I enjoy working with individuals and couples. I am a qualified supervisor and am licensed in Florida, New York, and Maine. I hold a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Rhode Island.
