Getting to know Ariana DePinto

Hello! My name is Ariana DePinto and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about working with children and adolescents. I strive to build relationships with my clients by being my genuine and transparent self and by connecting with my clients’ families to incorporate teamwork and collaboration into my practice. I strive to create a safe space for my clients to learn, grow, and prosper. My educational background and training includes a Bachelors of Science Degree in Psychology from Yale University and a Masters Degree in Counseling from Northern Illinois University with a specialization in school counseling. I believe that clients learn the most about themselves and begin to grow when the approaches and interventions are individualized to each of my client’s needs in the moment. I utilize a person-centered perspective in my practice, but I also include cognitive behavioral therapy interventions, play therapy approaches, mindfulness and talk therapy techniques. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my puppy and coaching girl’s youth ice hockey. I am very excited to meet you wherever you are in your journey!
