Our life path is full of ups and downs with unexpected twists and turns. We learn to develop ways of coping-whether positive or negative-to help deal with stressors or adapt to change. However, most of the time, we fall back on what we are accustomed to when facing stressful situations or unexpected changes, such as becoming confused, frustrated, emotional, withdrawing, angry, combative, or ignoring the situation and hoping it will magically disappear or resolve itself. Sometimes, we need assistance to develop positive coping skills to manage these challenges. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's in Social Work from Barry University. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families to overcome numerous challenges. In addition to treating many mental health conditions, I have specialized training in anxiety, career issues, conflict, depression, grief, self-esteem, anger management, behavior issues, stress, trauma, substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders. My approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Strength-Based Therapy. I encourage collaboration with you when designing a treatment plan to ensure it is implemented properly and to increase the potential for a successful outcome. Your well-being is my priority, and I look forward to helping you meet your goals.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
