Hi – my name is Ariyon Fountaine and I am a Licensed New Jersey Social Worker. I bring an empathic, empowering, and client-centered approach to therapy, creating a safe and supportive space for individuals and couples. I deeply value the therapeutic relationship and work to ensure that those entrusted to my care feel comfortable, heard, and respected.
With a gentle and holistic style, I meet clients where they are—exploring how their concerns impact their overall well-being. I’m especially passionate about normalizing Black mental health and breaking the stigma surrounding therapy in communities of color. I also enjoy working with adults navigating life transitions, issues of self-worth, and healing from past experiences.
I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania and have experience supporting late adolescence. individuals and couples dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, PTSD, self-esteem, boundary setting, and complex trauma. I’m trained in the Gottman Method for Couples Counseling. I embrace all cultural, religious, sex, and gender backgrounds.
A strong advocate for sustainable self-care, I support clients in developing practical routines to nurture their mental and emotional health. Outside of the therapy room, you can find me recharging through reading, meditation, beach days, trying new foods, and spending time with loved ones.
