Getting to know Arlene Anjos

Therapy is not one size fits all and it is not a one person show. We focus on collaborating with clients to identify and work towards their goals. We believe that overall wellness must include a focus on both mental and physical health as they are intertwined. We are trained and experienced in psychotherapy as well as using behavioral health interventions to help with chronic health management. Sessions are compassionate and genuine. It is essential that sessions are a place where clients can feel comfortable discussing even the most sensitive of topics in a judgment free space. The goal is to help clients revive and thrive! Various approaches are utilized depending on the needs and preferences of each client. We collaborate with our clients to identify what evidence-based interventions and treatment modalities would be best in achieving their treatment goals. Our therapist has a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University, but the best education has been the 17+ years of experience working with clients and families. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey our therapist has worked with various populations addressing various concerns. In addition to working directly with clients, we are certified to provide clinical supervision to therapists who are not yet fully licensed as well as certified for Field Instruction for graduate social work students. Sessions also provided in SPANISH and PORTUGUESE. ***INSURANCE INFORMATION*** Please note that we do NOT accept any Medicaid or Medicare plans. We accept multiple in-network insurances, self-pay, as well as out-of-network benefits from most major insurances.
