Armeshae Ugbome, LCSW

Psychotherapist
GA
Hi there, I'm Armeshae! I am a licensed clinical social worker based in Atlanta, Georgia, working with clients via telehealth. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Walden University. I work with adults specializing in anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem issues, and life transitions. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques with a person-centered approach to help people live healthier lives and gain essential tools to move forward. My approach My therapeutic approach varies based on the client I am working with. Although I tend to pull from Cognitive Behavioral strategies, my goal is to help clients uncover unconscious behaviors that may be holding them back from accessing their true potential. In doing so, I hope to help my clients build a shared understanding of their reality, creating a more authentic version of themselves. My focus My focus for my clients is to create healing and understanding while fostering compassion. Think of it as building skills that will allow you to feel better about yourself. Up until this very moment, you have been used to a certain way of life. Now you are choosing to take your power back. This journey will not be easy, but you have taken the first step. I love that for you! My communication style My communication style is personable and accommodating. I want my clients to feel comfortable talking with me as they share their experiences. I am here to listen without judgment. My journey to mental healthcare My journey as a therapist started with a desire to help people. Now, not only do I want to help, but I also want to assist people in recognizing their blind spots while allowing trauma and past experiences to become further in their rearview. I truly enjoy seeing people become better versions of themselves.
