Getting to know Artrevisa Payton

Hi, I am Artrevisa. Are you experiencing difficulties coping? Not sure where to begin? Arthur Ashe said it best, "Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can." I would like to help you through this journey. I utilize a conversational and relaxed style of therapy that can be used for all walks of life. I have 10 years of experience working with adult and geriatric populations experiencing anxiety, depression, stress management, coping skills, and Alzheimer's and dementia within long-term care and outpatient communities. I assist clients in reaching their goals by utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Client Centered Therapy. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California, and bachelor’s degrees from the University of South Alabama and Troy University. My hope is to help reduce and resolve the feelings of uncertainty and affliction that keep you from moving forward in your life and to confront your fears in a safe environment, while validating your current state of feeling through objectivity. Most importantly, I am here to listen.
