Getting to know Arzella Hawthorne-Louidor

In 2004, while working as a grant manager for a foster home for pregnant teens, I realized they needed more than an empathetic ear and an open mind. This inspired me to pursue a Master's in Counseling at Webster University. I have been a counselor for 16 years and continue to work with those who need help coping with the harder times they have experienced.

What should a new client know about working with you?

We will work together to establish your goals for therapy. Each session I aim to get you one step closer to your goals by creating a space for you to process any current issues as well as learn a new skill each time we meet. All of the sessions are client directed, so mostly, the goal is to get you what you need each appointment.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
