If you're a busy professional who was called a "hero" in 2020, you probably know the deep loneliness and pain of burnout to some degree. High-achieving hard workers become overstretched with little or no appreciation for their sacrifices. Do you sometimes struggle to remember what it feels like to really feel connected in your relationships? For some people, this can show up as mysterious or stress-related health issues that leave you feeling like your body is working against you. You want to experience peace in your body and mind but have trouble accessing positive feelings, even when relaxing. You want to live a life you enjoy and enjoy the life you worked so hard for. Asha Teeple is an LPC licensed in the state of Oklahoma. She earned her Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Southern Nazarene University. Asha is a Certified Somatic Attachment Therapist through the Embody Lab and trained in inner-relationship focusing, a mindful technique that can be used to address distressing physical sensations in the body and invite a sense of inner wholeness and peace. While working as the Adult Treatment Supervisor at an addiction recovery center, Asha developed a transformational curriculum to give participants language to reconnect with their felt senses and repair their relationships with the inner Self.
