What should a new client know about working with you?

My therapy style is warm, supportive, and collaborative. During our sessions, you can expect a judgment-free space where we will work together to better understand what you are experiencing and identify goals that are meaningful to you. I tailor therapy to each client’s individual needs rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. We may explore patterns, develop practical coping strategies, build on your strengths, and work toward changes that feel realistic and sustainable. I encourage open communication and want you to feel comfortable sharing what is or isn’t working for you throughout the therapeutic process.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During our first sessions, we will take time to understand what brings you to therapy, explore your concerns, and identify the goals you would like to work toward. Together, we will develop a treatment approach that fits your individual needs. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy into my work. CBT can help you recognize and change unhelpful thought and behavior patterns, while Solution-Focused Therapy emphasizes your strengths, existing resources, and practical steps toward the changes you want to see. Sessions are collaborative and may include exploring current challenges, identifying patterns, learning coping strategies, and developing practical tools you can use outside of therapy. We will regularly check in on your progress and adjust our approach as your needs and goals evolve.
