Hi, my name is Ashlee! I'm an independently licensed therapist specializing in anxiety and depression, working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Clark Atlanta University and a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Georgia State University. With six years of experience as a licensed counselor, I am currently independently licensed in the states of Kentucky and Georgia. My mission is to help instill a sense of hope and open your eyes to new perspectives on life's less desirable and unfortunate circumstances. I believe in empowering you to create a positive view of yourself and build confidence in your ability to be resilient through focusing on your personal strengths. I have worked with a wide range of ages, from children as young as 4 to adults over 60, providing individual, family, and couples/marriage counseling. I have extensive experience working with clients dealing with depression, anxiety, OCD, grief, personality disorders, PTSD/trauma, and couples’ issues such as infidelity and poor communication. My background includes multiple years working with teens in the foster care system in both outpatient and residential settings, helping them navigate various forms of trauma. In our sessions, you can expect a supportive and non-judgmental environment where we work collaboratively to address your concerns.
