I believe that the purpose of therapy is to supply others with guidance towards developing tools and skills that allow them to ultimately set themselves free. Salt + Light Healing Wellness is built on mental health therapy such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) & Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) & Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), simultaneously enriched by therapeutic yoga, trauma-informed yoga, somatic therapy, meditation, sound healing & breath work. My mission is to help clients connect with their inner selves, learn to heal, and cultivate joy and resilience in their lives. With a Master's in Mental Health Counseling and a Florida Board Licensed Mental Health Counselor certification, I possess the skills necessary to help individuals, groups, and couples through several areas of concern. I have a background in mindfulness and somatic healing yoga that is often implemented in my practice through connection with the mind and body, including several breath-work techniques as well as private somatic healing sessions upon request. I work primarily with individuals. I have focused much of my experience working with several areas of concern and populations including but not limited to LGBTQ, Latinx, as well as topics of Intimacy, ADHD, Anxiety, OCD, Bipolar Disorder, and Depression. I strive to build rapport & draw on human connection to meet each client with empathy & kindness.
