Coffee Enthusiast. Writer. Speaker. - You are everything you have built. - I am the Professional’s Therapist. We are the generation raised by parents of the 50s, 60s, and 70s. We were pushed into college and graduate school because our parents worked so hard for us to have the freedom to get higher education and “professional” careers, so we better not forget or squander their sacrifices, right? We entered the workforce in droves as doctors, accountants, nurses, bankers, therapists, business owners, IT specialists, lawyers, clergy, teachers, social workers, etc., and lost who are are as individuals the higher we climbed the ladder. Our generation is proficient at organization, productivity, achievement - and we have no clue why we’re all so lonely, anxious, self-doubting, tense, exhausted, and scared to show anyone all parts of our selfs. Most of us are parents ourselves now, dedicated to doing better than our parents did by us. We may even be taking care of those who raised us and facing harsh realities of identity and questioning our own “faults” related to our upbringing.
