Life can feel overwhelming, and you do not have to navigate it alone. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, major life transitions, or simply feeling stuck. I understand that reaching out for support can be difficult. I strive to provide a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your individual needs. I can be direct when helpful, while always leading with kindness and a gentle touch. I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role is to listen, offer new perspectives, and help you develop practical tools, confidence, and resilience. I draw from evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), when appropriate. Together, we can build on your strengths and work toward meaningful, lasting change—one step at a time.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My style is warm, compassionate, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I want you to feel comfortable being yourself and discussing what matters most to you. I can be direct when it is helpful, but I always lead with kindness and a gentle touch. I believe you are the expert on your own life, so therapy will be tailored to your needs, experiences, and goals. During our work together, I will listen, ask thoughtful questions, offer new perspectives, and help you develop practical tools for managing challenges and creating meaningful change. I use evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), when appropriate. You do not need to have everything figured out before your first visit. We will take the process one step at a time and move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We will discuss what brought you to therapy, the challenges you are experiencing, relevant parts of your history, and what you hope to gain from our work together. You are always welcome to ask questions and share any concerns about the process. Together, we will identify your goals and develop an individualized treatment plan. Future sessions may include exploring thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life experiences; recognizing patterns; learning practical coping strategies; and building on your existing strengths. When appropriate, I may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, or EMDR. Therapy is collaborative and moves at a pace that respects your comfort and readiness. We will regularly check in about your progress and adjust our approach as your needs and goals evolve.
