I focus on working with individuals ages 5 to 25, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) along with other techniques to get to the root of the issue and change thoughts, which in turn can affect behaviors. My approach I primarily use CBT to help clients explore and address their challenges. My focus I work mainly with adolescents and young adults, with experience in anxiety, ADHD, trauma, grief, depression, and many other concerns. My communication style I strive to create a comfortable yet challenging environment. I come alongside children and families to support progress and positive change. My journey to mental healthcare I have always enjoyed working with people and listening to them. While in college, I worked with young people in a tutoring program, where I supported them not only academically but also with home, family, school, and life issues. After college, I felt led to pursue a counseling program and have been blessed to continue this dream of helping others through counseling. My goals for you I collaborate with clients and families to set meaningful goals and work through the process together. My first session with you I review the counseling process, introduce goal setting, and explain my counseling techniques to ensure we start on the right path.
