The client's lower hierarchical needs (physical and safety) will be met so that we can appropriately work on issues with relationships, self-esteem, and self-actualization. Additionally, the client may have an array of problems related to anxiety and/or depression and will need a space without judgment to explore their thoughts, emotions, and reactions to the world around them. My specialty is Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with experience using skills such as motivational interviewing and reframing. I can help clients identify their motivation(s) and change their worldview, which can help them accept the world around them and realize that they can only change themselves. I know what you're experiencing may seem hopeless and unmanageable. I am here to accept all that you bring to the table and show you that feeling better is possible.
