Getting to know Ashley Hale
Ashley sees CHILDREN only. She specializes in treating ages 3 to 17 and strongly believes in the resilience of children and their ability to grow and adapt when given the opportunity and the tools needed to do so. Children ages 3-5 must be seen in-office.

Ashley is a Licensed Professional Counselor. As a native Tennessean, she earned both her Bachelor’s in Psychology and Master’s in Community Counseling from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Her professor once said, “Play is a child’s most natural language.” That phrase, along with her love of children, solidified Ashley’s career path.
A job opportunity called her to Texas, where she fell in love with breakfast tacos, bluebonnets, and wide open spaces. She worked at an inpatient psychiatric hospital that exposed her to a variety of clinical diagnoses in the child and adolescent population. This experience showed her the need for a practice where therapy is not a “one size fits all” approach.
Ashley believes the mode of therapy should be carefully chosen depending on the client and their needs. Her work at LifeStance is an “eclectic” mixture of therapies that includes expressive therapies such as art, music, and play, as well as narrative therapy, reality therapy, and CBT, to name a few.
A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellation of appointments, or a cancellation fee will be charged.
