Congrats on taking steps toward a more fulfilling life. I believe everyone can benefit from therapy and love to help people make quick progress toward the changes they are hoping to see. I try and provide a safe, warm, supportive space for sharing and exploring, and would love to see if we're a good fit. My approach I like to help clients learn tools for managing thoughts and emotions, explore strengths, interests, and values to guide progress, and help them build and improve relationships. I am also here to just be a listening ear when needed. I believe clients are the experts on their own lives, and using a collaborative approach, we can figure out how to move forward toward living a life you want to be living. My focus Are you feeling overwhelmed or stuck? Whether you’re working through trauma, building coping skills, or exploring personal goals, I’ll help you find a path forward that feels empowering and achievable. My communication style I have a very supportive and validating communication style. I value clear, open communication in a non-judgmental environment. I practice active listening and will give you opportunities to reflect on your experiences with you as a compassionate partner. My journey to mental healthcare I read a book in middle school where a family was met by a social worker as they entered the hospital in one of the toughest times of their lives, and I wanted to support people in their hard moments ever since. Learning from my own hard moments has only increased my desire to help others successfully navigate their challenges. My goals for you I believe therapy is a partnership where we’ll identify and set goals that matter to you. I’m here to provide you with support and tools as you continue to move closer to where you want to be, even when things need adjusting or feel overwhelming.
