What should a new client know about working with you?

I strive for our work together to be meaningful, productive, and truly enjoyable. When you log into a session with me, I want you to feel you are entering a space where you are safe to be your authentic self. I encourage my clients to "say the damn thing," let go of the shame they have been holding, and release their baggage. I know I am doing my job if my clients feel deeply understood and seen. I am identity-affirming and recognize the unique systemic challenges each individual faces.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My approach is client-centered and collaborative; I firmly believe that you are the expert of your own life. I often say that while you are driving the bus, I am in the passenger seat holding the map. Utilizing an integrative framework that pulls from both cognitive and somatic therapies, I help clients fully process their experiences. We also focus on the practical, bridging insights from our sessions into the real world to empower you to make lasting, life-changing improvements.
