Getting to know Ashley Holloway

I am a trauma-informed therapist dedicated to providing compassionate, client-' centered care for individuals navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and the effects of past experiences. My approach is holistic, recognizing the connection between mind, body, and emotional well-being. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives. Whether you are facing stress, relationship challenges, major life changes, or emotional difficulties, my goal is to support you in achieving balance, healing, and lasting growth. What should a new client know about working with you?

Working with me means entering a space where you can show up exactly as you are—without fear of judgment, pressure, or having to pretend that everything is okay. I believe that healing happens in relationships built on trust, authenticity, and genuine connection. My clients often describe me as warm, approachable, creative, and deeply invested in their growth. I bring my full self into the therapy room, creating an environment where you can feel safe enough to explore difficult emotions, life challenges, and patterns that may be keeping you stuck. I understand that vulnerability can feel uncomfortable, and I honor the courage it takes to begin this work. My role is not to tell you who to be, but to walk alongside you as you discover your own strengths, insights, and path forward. Using a trauma-informed and holistic approach, I tailor therapy to your unique needs and experiences. I value creativity, curiosity, and collaboration, and I believe that meaningful change occurs when you feel truly seen, heard, and supported. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, I am committed to providing a compassionate space where healing, growth, and self-discovery can unfold at your own pace. Together, we will create a therapeutic relationship grounded in respect, authenticity, and the belief that lasting growth is possible.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My approach to therapy centers on helping clients reconnect with a sense of safety, trust, and confidence within themselves. Drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS) and EMDR, I help clients develop a deeper understanding of the thoughts, emotions, and protective patterns that have shaped their experiences. Rather than viewing these parts of yourself as problems to be fixed, we approach them with curiosity, compassion, and respect. Together, we work toward cultivating self-compassion and strengthening your connection with your body’s wisdom, allowing you to move beyond survival mode and into a greater sense of grounding and authenticity. Through this process, clients often learn to feel more present, resilient, and empowered, developing the ability to navigate life's challenges with increased self-trust and emotional balance.
